Fairview Regional Medical Center’s Social Services Department provides compassionate support to patients and families navigating the emotional, practical, and financial challenges of illness and recovery. Our team ensures patients have the resources and guidance they need for safe discharge and ongoing wellness.

Alongside hospital-based support, we are proud to offer clinical counseling services provided by our Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Meet Our Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Kaylea Drapalla, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Kaylea Drapalla is a Master’s-level Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced professional training in mental health care. LCSWs must meet state licensure requirements and pass a national exam to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice.

Kaylea provides individual counseling for patients of all ages, with an emphasis on mental health and overall well-being. Her goal is to empower individuals to cope, heal, and thrive through life’s challenges.

Hospital-Based Social Services

In addition to counseling, our Social Services team supports patients and families during and after hospitalization through:

  • Discharge Planning – Arranging home health, therapy, or nursing care after hospitalization.
  • Resource Navigation – Connecting patients with community services and financial assistance.
  • Advance Directives & Care Planning – Guidance with medical decision-making documents.
  • Long-Term Care Placement – Helping families find skilled nursing or assisted living care.
  • Crisis Intervention – Support during difficult or emergency circumstances.
